How a piece gets made

It starts analog — a sketch, a material find, or a color combination that demands to be explored. From there it moves to the workbench: cutting, layering, firing, assembling. Digital work follows the same process, just without the mess.

Why I make things

Not to fill a catalog. To make objects that feel like they were made for a specific person, even when I don't know who that person is yet.
